She might be a Mumbai girl now, but if winter is here,
Tridha Choudhury cannot be away from her beloved Kolkata -- at least not by choice. After all, it’s time for her favourite annual event – the boi mela!
But unfortunately, the Scottish Church alumna had to miss a few editions of the fair due to work and travel plans. So, when CT asked the actress to visit the 46th International Kolkata Book Fair with us, Tridha didn’t take even a second to say yes. “I am coming to the book fair after seven years. It is always an incredible experience. The traffic was so crazy because of the book fair that I chose to walk down from Karunamoyee to reach the fairground. That journey took me back to my college days,” shared the actress.
Reminiscing about the good old college days, Tridha said, “Back then, I would meet my friends in front of the entry gate and then all of us would go in together. We did the same thing this time as well and all of this is making me miss my college days big time.”
At the book fair, Tridha made sure to visit as many stalls as she could. She was especially excited about the little magazine stalls and ended up taking home a few interesting reads. From having bhanrer cha to posing for pictures to share with her friends in Mumbai, from dancing in the middle of the fair with schoolchildren to obliging fans with selfies, Tridha had a blast at the book fair. Here are a few glimpses…
